Now we all know life happens and things don't always go according to plan. Tech malfunctions, unexpected guests and the weather? So maybe this is just rambling but have you ever found yourself in a conversation and you are asked what you have been doing? Found yourself actually pausing to think about it. Note awkward silence and interesting grins slash understanding smiles? It's been busy I have been all over the place nervous laugh.
So you ask them what they have been up to? No they probably just single handedly saved the world, settled that major deal, made the most amazing dinner and still look on top of the world. What have you been doing? Oh I managed to move the pile of papers on my desk from the left to the right side, got caught in that freak five minute rainfall but no yelling my way today that's something right? Probably not half way on top of the world.
So now when I am reviewing my day and trying to think up what to procrastinate on, I am reminded of the saying 'It's the little things that count.' Sometimes all you can do is your best so remember that and count the little good things. I helped someone who has just been in town for a week find their way and I did write other important things down. Now I just have to find where I put the piece of paper. Tomorrow is another day right?
A few quotes :
"Procrastination is like a credit card: it's a lot of fun until you get the bill."
- Christopher Parker
“Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone”

“Someday is not a day of the week.”
