This is one from the archives with a few tweaks. It is still relevant today because life happens and gets in the way of your well thought plans. No matter you still have to get back up and back on track.
We all know that regular EXERCISE is good for you for a lot of reasons
but safe to say there are a lot of people who don't do it. I am
guilty of being one of those most often than not. After several attempts of doing exercise
regularly i was finally able to say it's happening.
After work weekly I
would go for badminton with my friend. Of course we did miss here and
there but it really worked for us but then I got a new job and it killed
it. With a commute of roughly an hour and a half each way and long hours it's
safe to say it killed quite a few things. I still needed to get my
license. Driving would take up around 45 minutes each way.
Never the less I
figured I would have to make time somewhere. Mornings no good unless I could wake up at 4am. Evenings no good between getting home late, catching up on emails, dinner etc it's just a hassle.Hey I still need to wind down after a long day. I will take that over exercise :)
So the solution was my 1 hour lunch break and I put it to good use. Generally you need at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. Now I am no gym buff or marathon junkie, in other words I aim for the 30 minutes nothing more. It's better than nothing right?
What do you do to stay fit if anything at all? How long have you stuck with it?
